ICE USA, the International Converting Exhibition, taking place April 9-11 at the Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC) in downtown Louisville announces their most robust conference program to date. More than 50 training, technical and process sessions will take place during the three-day event.

The full program includes three components: AIMCAL Fundamentals, the ICE USA Technical Conference and the Future of Converting Theater. AIMCAL Fundamentals take place on Tuesday before the show floor opens and are all-day training sessions targeted to newcomers to the converting industry. Attendees can choose between two sessions – Coating & Drying and Slitting & Rewinding.

The ICE USA Technical Conference sessions are held all three days of the show from 8am – 10am before the show floor opens. These 30-minute sessions are led by industry experts and equipment engineers and focus on new advances in technology and processes. Sessions include topics like “Data Analytics for Roll-to-Roll Processes”, “Web Tensions Control Fundamentals”, “Static Electricity: Causes and Cures in Converting” and many more.

On the show floor, the Future of Converting Theater offers topics on the disruptive innovations affecting the converting industry. Kicking off each day is a keynote presentation given by industry leaders:

• Dean Schneider, P.E. Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute “Smart Manufacturing: Lighting the Path to the Value of your Data” on Wednesday, April 10
• Jim Chrzan, VP Content & Brand Strategy, PMMI “Cannabis Packaging: Risks and Opportunities” on Thursday, April 11
Other Future of Converting sessions include topics like “Surviving the Patent Process”, “5 Best Practices for Building a High-Performance Workforce”, “The Basics of GMPs for Converters” and more.
